Just as Reader Submission Week drew to a close last Friday, Mr Tweets received the most extraordinary tweet from @Ben_Millar with details of our most exotic sighting yet.

As a result, I have felt compelled to extend Reader Submission Week by one day.

Mr Millar apologises for not having a picture of Mr Loaf’s shopfront, but no apology is necessary.

Nairobi! It is really quite remarkable! (Unfortunately, I have been unable to track down Mr Loaf's exact location, but who knows, one day I may get the chance.)

It is a sobering thought to consider how many Mr shops might be present in the great continent of Africa. Its sheer size is hard to fathom – a point which this map dramatically brings home:

For this reason, I do not intend to make Africa part of the core mission of this blog, because even the thought of doing so is overwhelming. Hopefully, Africa has its own equivalent of a Mr Blog to achieve what I am seeking to do for the UK.
