After yesterday’s somewhat text-heavy shopfront, it's nice to feature the much more economical Mr Overalls.

One thing I have noticed in the course of my blogging is that many of the brands I feature work differently online than they do offline. Looking at Mr Overalls’ website, we find an entirely different logo, in which the counter of the ‘O’ is made up of a set of overalls:

Mr Overalls must have been tempted to try an ‘overall’ play on words when considering straplines. Options include:

Overalls? We’re all over it!
We’re overalls all over!
The best overalls overall.
Overalls for one, overalls for all.
They think it’s overalls, it is now!

However, “We’ve got you covered” does the job perfectly well and is perhaps less forced.

I’ve written a joke about Mr Overalls, which may conceivably have happened in real life:

I say, I say I say – I went to Mr Overalls the other day to buy three sets of overalls, all priced differently. When I asked him, “What’s the overall cost?” he said, “Which one?”

This joke isn't one of my better ones. Nevertheless, I entered it into a comedy competition and it won the prize for best overall joke! *

* This is also a joke – I know of no such competition.
