On that subject, I should extend my congratulations to His Royal Highness the Prince William of Wales and Her Royal Highness in Waiting (?) Princess Kate of Wales.

I’m not really sure of the correct form of address for either of them, if I am honest. Maybe this is not the day to mention it, but I have always found the royal family a strange anachronism. Every man is a Mr in my book. Do you know what I mean? If the royals didn’t exist, we wouldn’t invent them, would we?

Anyway, back to our real work. I have slightly strained the boundaries of this blog in order to include Princess News, as I believe the establishment takes its name from its address on Princess Road, rather than with any intent to personify its product. But I’m trying to be topical and it’s difficult sometimes! Give me a break. Who died and made you king! Oh, right. Well then, I apologise.
